We can’t say enough good things about Mason Dixon Outfitters and the incredible care and training our dog has received with Kim. Our pup has been staying with her since he was little, and the transformation in both his hunting skills and household manners has been a total game changer for our family. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully run. We especially love that the dogs are exercised in groups, which has done wonders for our boy’s social skills. Whether we’re dropping him off for boarding or training, we know he’s in the best hands with people who truly love what they do. As a hunting family with three young kids, having a trusted place like Mason Dixon Outfitters means everything to us. They’ve helped us raise a bird dog who can perform confidently in the field and settle sweetly into our home, which is exactly what we hoped for. We’re incredibly grateful for Kim and the team. Their knowledge, consistency, and genuine care shine through in every interaction. Highly recommend to anyone looking for next-level training and peace of mind when boarding their dogs!

Absolute best experience consistently at this facility. The owners are incredible with animals and they run an extremely clean facility with tons of structure and exercise for my lab. I was grateful for their consistent loving care of our lab Buddy and now with our lab Finley. The dogs never want to leave and are always happy to return. Kim is helping me train Finley and I cannot thank her enough. She is phenomenal.

I am a professional dog trainer so was incredibly apprehensive about leaving my working dogs with anyone. And 2/3 dogs have health issues, one has a blown right shoulder so she's in hobbles. Kim, the owner, reassured me my dogs, even with their health challenges, would be well cared for when I left them for the first time. I was floored at how squeaky clean the place was and the kennels were spotless with NO odor. None. AND quiet. There were at least 20 kennels, each with a dog, and there was NO barking, whining or crying, nor did any of the dogs have on bark collars. I was impressed and I am not easily impressed . Kim texted me updates and photos while we were gone. Amazing. My dogs were treated. well and I will board my dogs with Kim at Mason-Dixon Outfitters anytime. Loved how well cared my dogs were in Kim's care. Highly recommend this place

I have used almost all of Mason Dixon Game Outfitter’s services over the last 4 years, and hunted there with my Pudelpointer Maggie 3 days ago! What can I say, Kim is the best! They use the “silent command method” (Huntsmith aka Rick and Ronnie Smith). I’ve attended two Ronnie Smith seminars (intermediate and advanced), had Kim help me with fundamentals, have used their kennels for boarding, have used their training field programs, and have used their hunting grounds numerous times. Are their fancier preserves? Yes probably, but you won’t find better dog people anywhere in my opinion. There is no one I would trust more than Kim to take care of Maggie. I would advise people if they are looking for bird dog training help to look over info on the Huntsmith Silent Command Method. If this method is not what you want to do, then maybe another trainer might be better for you. However if the Huntsmith method does fit into your bird dog goals, I don’t think you could find a better place.

I took my daughter's 2 year old Brittany male to Mason-Dixon, Sir Mustache, in the spring of 2019, he was taught to not pay attention to the Parrots in the house, so when Kim first got him, she put a Chukar beside him in the yard and he just laid there and ignored it. After his training was complete, he became the bird dog he was meant to be, and is a great hunting companion. Attached is a picture of Sir on the left and his mom Katie on the right after a successful day
