Nice park to fish, crab, launch a kayak into the bay. Has a port-a-pot, a couple of picnic tables & two piers. There is a traversable long rock marsh stabilization wall from which to fish. Rocks are very slippery though & bay water is only several feet deep at best. I've caught flounder, small sea bass, & skate from the shore but it is very tide & weather dependent.
Beautiful and very relaxing. Lots of Blue crab and fishing was enjoyable but little fish. Not too crowded.
honestly just a nice spot to get some quiet & see some nature, that's what we were looking for after a day at the beach and doing our usual touristy ocean city stuff, and we wound up stopping here on two different days. during the day you'll see a bunch of little crabs everywhere (horrible quality from my phone, but you can see them in the fourth pic) hope to come back by this little place the next time i'm back in ocean city!
This spot is perfect for a walk. There were lots of folks crabbing from the pier - too many leaving trash which is unfortunate- we headed to the area facing the bridge and it was a quiet memorial park with trees planted dedicated to local loved ones. Nice spot for a picnic or walk.
Good boardwalks over wetlands but supposed trails were difficult (if not impossible) to find.
