Audubon Caratunk Wildlife Refuge

Loved the easy to walk beautiful trails. Picnic tables at the entrance. Not a lot of parking space but not crowded either on weekend afternoon. Good for walk with kids.

A must see! My kids and I really enjoyed the beautiful, clean trails. The picture taking opportunities are endless. It's a very peaceful spot.

Trails off trails, well marked and scenic! Very resourceful with information and kid friendly.

If you're looking for somewhere scenic or quiet this is the place to go. The trails are pretty easy though definitely watch your steps in some areas. Also love how there is an outdoor bathroom that is always clean! However if it's rained recently upon your travels here definitely recommend wearing boots it can get muddy in some areas. Always love coming here!!

I love walking at Caratunk and anytime of the year. It's one of my two favorite audubons. It's quiet and restful and rejuvenating for the soul!
