What a great hunt with Triple H Outfitters! Ive been on several guided hunts and each time I was able to learn something new about guides. I first found several other hunters that had used Triple H; they all only had positive things to say about Donovan’s operation in Kansas. I’ve hunted turkey for over 20 years so I’ve always been wary of places that guarantee opportunities. I knew I was in the right place after talking to Donovan on the phone before booking and we talked about Kansas and their conservation efforts over the last several years. We talked about nest and brood habitat and his ongoing recommendations to biologists. I could tell immediately this was not someone trying to squeeze every dollar out of the animals, but truly was a conservationist and someone who wanted to share this amazing hunt with others. Plenty of well managed property and birds that weren’t over pressured (we were the last hunt of the year). Lodge and food were amazing. Exactly what I was looking for, a great hunt with lots of gobbling turkeys and a phenomenal camp experience where turkey stories abound!

Nothing short of AMAZING! Not only does Donovan have the birds (76 Tom's/Jake's) in 3 days, but they were ready to play the game! The lodge was an outdoorsman's paradise, and the food.....let's just say Mrs. Connie has us going home a few pounds heavier. All in all 10/10. Triple H hits every check box for an unforgettable hunting experience.

I hope this review helps anyone who has never hunted with an outfitter make their decision. This is the first time I have ever hunted with an outfitter. I have been chasing the grand slam of wild turkeys with a bow, all of my turkey hunts have been DIY public land and permission ground. I tried to go to Texas last year for a Rio and honestly didn’t have the best experience with the email responses or really lack of response from outfitters down there in both availability and catering to bowhunters. Triple H Outfitters exceeded my expectations of what a guided hunt experience feels like; to the point that if I can draw this tag consistently I will come back every chance I get. Donovan, his family and all his guides are committed to providing you an experience you will never forget. Their management practices, the lodge, the food, the hunting and the amount of birds they have access to, their guides are all top notch. You just have to see for yourself.
