For my first time leaving Maryland for waterfowl Fowl Plains in Kansas did not disappoint! All the boys and Mrs Meghan are some of the best people to be around. Chase knows how to make everyone feel important and seen. My man Dave in the kitchen will treat you to the best food you can put in your mouth. Cant say enough good things about the entire experience and looking forward to my return trip!

Can’t say enough great things about Fowl Plains. If you’re looking for an excellent waterfowl hunting experience, no need to look anywhere else, book here! All the guides were excellent, Chef Dave made the best meals I’ve ever had for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Chase, Meghan, and Cody (owners) were incredible and made the experience that much better. We will be returning customers, no doubt.

Our Mother/Son trip to Fowl Plains was everything I hoped for and more. It’s clear that Chase, Meghan and Cody had a vision of what this place could be and that they assembled an incredible team to execute that vision. The lodge is well-appointed, well-cared-for and spacious. There are several “dens” to choose from for down time in the evening and all of the amenities you would expect - TVs, pool table, ping pong, fire pit etc. Meals at Fowl Plains are not an afterthought or a “feed a crowd” endeavor. Chef Dave and his team work around the clock and it shows. I could write a whole review just extolling the virtues of the kitchen team at Fowl Plains. Yes, it’s a hunting trip but the amount of talent, time and care that come out of that kitchen truly elevate the experience. Your personable and knowledgeable guides will join you for dinner each night after scouting. It’s a great time to get to know folks and talk about the next day’s hunt or relive moments from that morning’s hunt. Mornings at Fowl Plains have the same hum of a well-oiled machine as the evening before. Coffee is hot and ready. Grab and go breakfast options are plentiful. Guides have the spread and blind prepared for your arrival with ample time to get settled before shooting light. There are some gifted callers on this staff. The retrievers are well-trained and every bit as professional as their handlers. These guides aren’t cutting any corners. They are working hard to give experienced and novice hunters alike a great hunt. Having Meghan in camp and in the blind was great. Knowing I wouldn’t be the only female there was a huge plus for me. As it turned out there was a Father/Daughter duo in camp with us as well. Meghan’s photography is another thing that elevates this outfit. My son and I were busy making memories and having those images after the hunt was such a treat. If you can schedule your departure on Sunday such that you have time to enjoy the Sunday Brunch after that last morning’s hunt I would encourage you to do so. It was probably my favorite meal and there were some incredible meals to be sure. I look so forward to returning to Fowl Plains. It was an extraordinary experience put together by some really great people. Hillery Lester Roanoke, VA

Chase, Cody and Meghan are three owners that put together a top notch hunting lodge that has every base covered. Hospitality from the time you arrive to the time you leave the staff makes you feel like you are at home. Hunting starts with a safety briefing from Meghan which I feel is key to a great hunt. Then the guides work every bird with phenomenal calling giving the hunters every opportunity to bring home plenty of meat. If a hunt is slow the guides are willing to do the unthinkable to change the luck. Our guide Gunner shaved his stache and believe it or not the next day we killed 60 geese. The food was outstanding starting with the breakfast burritos to the tomahawks steaks for dinner. Every meal was well planned and executed perfectly. If you snapped a wishbone and wished for a great meal, what we devoured here would be exactly what I would expect. To say the least our expectations were met. Great people, awesome hunts and all around great experience!! I give it a ten… A Ten…!! Thank you for a great time Zack Wood (Top of the smack talking leader board😂)

Can't thank Meghan, Chase, Canon and the ENTIRE TEAM at #fowlplains enough! What a truly magical experience this was for us hunting in Kansas for the first time. Your operation is top to bottom FIRST CLASS! From the initial greeting, to all of the time, care and meticulousness y'all put into us was evident everyday. From the guides scouting and coming through with putting us on the ducks - thank you to Jenson, Justin, Caleb, Mustang and all for your hardwork, preparation and dedication to what you love - your passion shows! To Chef Dave... all I can say is Wow! You have a rare gift my friend and it was a treat to be able to sample your delicious and creative meals 3 times a day! Our group has been hunting together since I was a child and while not all of us were able to be there this time, we are looking forward to bringing the rest of the boys back same time next year. Thank you so much for making us feel at home and welcome with all of our craziness, jokes and making fun of one another. We left feeling like family...much love and can't wait to burn 'em up with y'all again 2024 season!
