Wild West Roosters

Amazing experience. I decided to take my dad on a guided hunt with Wild West Roosters for his birthday. I had assumed that it would be a good experience; friendly people, nice area, etc. The actual experience was so much better than I could have imagined. I split my time hunting on WMA ground and on a few people's farm ground that I can gain access to. This hunt was a far more authentic hunting experience than either of those. The birds are as smart and wild as any wild bird I've encountered near cultivated agriculture land, and infinitely better than the planted birds on WMA ground in the area. Jason and one of his guides worked a section of their land with highly skilled dogs. It was a pleasure to watch the dogs work. They had beautiful points and got us all the shooting we could ask for. They offered as much, or as little advice as we wanted and took care of our every need. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We got a brief tour of their operation. They are set up to handle any group size and basically any ability level. I am looking forward to bringing out a corporate outing with them, but I am even more excited for my next trip out with my dad. These guys are the best.
