J&S Trophy Hunts

Very good service. Meals were good, time was good. Good hunting and good beds and lodging. Guides were extremely friendly and overall good service. Definitely coming back!
Was not impressed with outfitter, nor were others at the camp and a few of us left a day early.I understand its a deer camp but for $4000 you would expext better. Was an old camp and on the real windy day you could hear metal on roof flapping and wind draft blowing through walls, there were NO tropy bucks mounted on the walls just a bunch of sheds and some bleached out european mounts.Breakfast they put out a box of ceral and had bagels, and peanut butter in the cubard, if you were hunting all day then you made your own with the lunchmeat and grabbed a small bag of chips or grabbed leftovers from the night before. Dinner was cooked elsewhere and then brought in, in serving trays luke warm and sometimes late.We were the first bow hunting group,OCT 28-Nov2.From what i was told guides came in just before our group arrived and from texas and minnesota. That meant no advanced scouting, trailcam pictures..,etc.etc.What you read on their web and what you see just didnt add up.Expected to see some BIG bucks and saw nothing but small ones that would have cost me an extra $750 to shoot.Out of the 10 hunters only 2 shot bucks that Barely made camp legal and 1 hunter had to pay.I get it thats hunting but when it has been managed that long you would expect to see bigger thats why i chose to pay $4000.I ended up driving to my hunting locations,The owners of the camp Never came out to camp to welcome hunters or even to say Thank You for coming. The guides were very friendly.First and last time for me and from what i was told the same for others as well.
