Bensink Farms Hunting Preserve

I can rave about this place all day long! My father in law started taking us there over the past few yeears and I love it! Not only is the owner and staff great the over all lay out is amazing the fishing in the spring and summer are awesome my husband and I love pulling out the kyaks and getting some good bass the hunting fields are well kept amd easy to walk as well as the birds are beautiful! Its amazing how they are able to do what they do! I shot my first 3 birds here and i got an awesome gift! We now go there almost every time we want to go bird hunting

Bensink Farm is a very pleasant place to bring my grandsons to learn to hunt and get some shots, increasing their skill while maintaining their interest. Jack is most hospitable and inviting’ trying to make your day a really great adventure!

Today was the first time we tried a stocked hunt like this and WOW are we impressed! We were greeted right away by the owner Jack and all the other employees/family members were very friendly and fun to talk to. Everyone there including the other hunters were willing to chat and trade some stories and tips. We successfully bagged 5 of the 6 Pheasants we purchased but had an opportunity on at least 9 birds in range and saw many others moving around the property out of range. There is plenty of good habitat to work and it felt just like a wild hunt does but with plenty of action. The birds were sitting tight and flushing close so there was plenty of shot opportunity. I think this is the first pheasant hunt in my life where each member of our hunting party got a bird. The birds themselves were beautiful and very healthy. I would recommend everyone to give this a try! We will definitely be back.

Gone out twice and had a lot of fun. Did great with helping my young dog become introduced to birds. Really help jumpstart the bird hunting process.
