Trophy Quest Farms
Reviews
Had a great time! I've hunted pigs in many places for over 30 years and Trophy Quest is now my favorite. Guide Tommy was always available for questions or anything we needed. Great experience without all the extra nickle and dime fees that others add on after. We never had to leave the property until it was time to head home. Can't wait to come back. Thanks for caring about what you do, it doesn't go unnoticed.
I’ve had the opportunity to stay at lodges all over the world. It’s hard to make a connection here that makes you want to come back. When conditions are tough, you try to hang on to the other types of memories made while there but it just wasn’t that type of lodge for us. This review is of the lodge operations itself not the staff. We tipped everyone before leaving. I booked a 3 day deer hunting trip with 1 extra non hunting guest (my husband). The property and lodge is nice inside and out. The owner never introduced themselves as the owner when he stopped by, I just heard someone else happen to mention he was the lodge owner. My husband still doesn’t know who he was from anyone else there. The dinners by Chef Ron were good but for breakfast he would put the food out and never let anyone know it was done so both breakfasts needed microwaved. One of the three dinners we left to a restaurant because the dinner turned into chips, cheese dip and cold meatballs at 8pm in a crockpot that didn’t get plugged in. Small hot appetizers after long cold hunting days would have been awesome before dinner. I did 10 hours each on my first 2 days of the hunt and 6 on my last day. I did not see 1 deer the entire hunt. A day before arriving the owner said it was the peak of rut so I was disappointed to not have any opportunities for a buck or doe, especially when they only do 36 hunts per year. I texted the lodge owner on my last day in the morning (we had already communicated on text prior) to see if he had any suggestions for the rest of the trip but he ended up never responding. It would have been great to have the lodge owner around to connect with his hunters/guests to give feedback, come up with some other ideas on how to make it a more successful trip - a total disconnection of an experience. We left a night early.
Always an awesome experience at Trophy Quest.
This place is fabulous 👌
