Hog Heaven Ranch

One of our party of 6 found Hog Heaven in his search for a hog hunt location. He communicated with Bob, the owner of the facility. He liked Bob so much, due to both his demeanor and responsiveness to communications that the search quickly narrowed to Hog Heaven and in hindsight it fit our needs perfectly. Two of us drove to Hog Heaven, one from out of state and one from in state. The other four flew in from various airports into Ft Myers. Be aware that it is probably just as easy to fly into Ft. Myers as it is Ft. Lauderdale, so choose whichever is best for you. Bob was aided by his assistant Mark and they helped us get acclimated to the lodge, showed us where to zero our rifles and told us what to expect regarding the hunt the next morning. Early in the morning on the day of the hunt, Bob and Mark showed up. Mark also brought his beast of a grandson, Brennan. The three of them brought us via pickup truck to the hunting area and escorted us to our stands before sunup. It didn't take too long before everyone in the hunting party scored at least one hog and we all had fun stories to tell one another while gathering up the pigs and back on the lodge around the campfire. Using the pickup, they brought the hogs back to the camp where Mark and Brennan proceeded to dress the hogs. The hogs were later brought to a meat processor in the Ft. Myers area who will ship the meat directly to our homes on the East coast. The lodge, the fire pit, the hunting, the care taken by Bob, Mark and Brennan to make sure that our hunting trip was safe, fun and that we all took a hog, made the whole weekend a huge success. It was a weekend that we will never forget and why we all rated it 5 out of 5 stars. BTW - Bob told us beforehand that we should bring freshwater for drinking and we did as the groundwater or well has an odor to it. Make sure you bring freshwater as well.

I’ve been there that is not a better place to go. The guy is amazing. The land is beautiful for real not better place to take your family and your friends to have really good time hunting appreciate the work.

Fantastic day of hunting. 12 year old son nailed a 200 lbs hog! Plus a panther passed under our stand! Can't say enough about Bob and Mark. Helped make a lifetime memory. Thanks guys! Can't wait to get that Euromount.

Bob runs a great operation and his grandson Jase is a very respectable young man and great guide. Our family had a blast. Definitely coming back again soon.

Scheduled a hog hunt with guide Bob Joyner on August 8th, 2017. My son, daughter, and myself. Had a wonderful experience! Got two hogs, one which was over 200 lbs.!! Guide was very nice and professional. My kids loved it! We are planning another trip soon! 2018 update .Just finished a second hunt with our guide on August 8, 2018. Had Geary this time. He was outstanding. He worked hard for us. My son and I got two hogs about 175 pounds each. Great customer service! Great with kids! Highly recommend!
