Green Acres Farm Oviedo (By Appointment Only)

We scheduled a tour at 9am and Melissa greeted us at the entrance with a big smile. She gave us as personalized tour of her farm, which is at her house. This was our second time at her farm, and her son was our tour guide the first time. We saw pigs, goats, chickens, a cow, turkeys and chicks. She gave us an educational tour, with fun facts about each animal. She was so sweet with great energy for kids. The tour was enjoyable, the animals look healthy and well kept and we even got to feed, pet and hold some animals. If you want to support a local family-owned farm this is a great place to go. I highly recommend.

We brought our farm animal obsessed 16m old for a scheduled private tour and we all had the best time! We got to pet and feed the bunnies, goats, chickens and baby moo cow. And we even got to give pets to Pita the baby pig. We truly had a wonderful time and Hunter did a great job as our tour guide. Loved the ability to take our time with the animals vs the chaos that you might sometimes encounter at traditional petting zoos. Thanks for sharing your farm with us!

Because of Covid in 2020 I was looking for new activities for our summer campers. I wanted to find more outdoor activities for them. I own a martial arts family business and had around 30 kids that year. Melissa was from the start so welcoming and supportive. Our kids were blown away and it quickly became their favorite field trip. We have come back every year since then. Each year they have something different for us, but we still get to see our old friends from previous years. It is still our favorite trip. It’s local, it’s family owned, it’s personal, it’s fantastic. We absolutely adore Green Acres Farms and we can’t recommend it enough.

Great outing for families of small kids and adults. Education about the animals is definitely a plus for the tour. Feeding and petting the animals makes for a fun day for everyone involved. Owner was very patient and answered all of the questions asked. The pollinator garden was being created while we were there. I will definitely return to see how the garden turned out.
