My dad built this ranch in the early'50's. Owned by the state of Colorado. There have been many improvements and expansions over the years, but the house and garage was much as I remembered. So much fun to go back in time.

One of my favorite birding destinations in Colorado. This is where you will have a great chance to hear and see Bell’s Vireo and Yellow-billed Cuckoo during the summer. A relatively close location to the Front Range for other eastern bird species as well.

Very safe place to rest for a few days. The bathrooms were super clean and stocked with toilet paper and sanitizer.

Some real nice areas, but also many unusable or poorly accessible.

Remote, but beautiful scenery!
