Drowsy Water Ranch

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drowsy Water Ranch – A True Western Gem! I visited Drowsy Water Ranch with my 10-year-old daughter, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. She arrived a Jersey girl and left a cowgirl! The equestrian program is outstanding, with patient and knowledgeable wranglers who truly care about the kids. The trail rides were absolutely breathtaking, and the family activities kept us engaged and smiling from sunrise to sunset. This is an authentic Western experience — the real deal — with a warm, caring staff who make you feel like part of the ranch family. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at DWR in June 2025. There were thirteen of us aged 2-74, a big group with diverse interests and needs. The Ranch and its staff fulfilled all of them and more, as advertised. Beautiful setting, wonderful horses, farm animals, family style meals and well planned and interesting activities. (rafting, zip lining, cowboy breakfast at 9K feet, rodeo, game night, and staff talent night to name only a few. After a few days the kids never seemed to touch down from the Rocky Mountain high, often eating meals with formerly unknown families and kids. Special, really special. Nathan and I spent an amazing week at DWR and had an incredible time. First the weather was spectacular as were all the employees. We got to ride as much as we wanted over beautiful mountains. We also enjoyed all the guests and the food was delicious and plentiful. The horses were healthy and well cared for with all the wranglers doing an outstanding job. We will definitely be back!! Thanks to all at DWR for your outstanding hospitality!!!

We had the best time at Drowsy Water Ranch. We really felt like we were simply visiting our family for a week. Family owned and operated. They have thought of everything. Lots of activities for the kids, families and adults. The horses were wonderful and amazingly cared for. The trail rides had breathtaking views. Food was delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hardest part is getting up early enough for the delicious cinnamon buns!

Another stunning Colorado week at Drowsy Water Ranch, Granby, CO in September 2025. The staff, the hospitality, the food, the horses, the attention to details, keeps us coming back for more. Why go anywhere else! The folks who return year after year, some for decades, are a testament to the dedication the Fosha family has for their ranch and their guests.
