This is a place of bliss, reflection and quiet grandeur during all seasons. I call this my happy place. The cross country skiing is second to none with Marie-Ange at the helm of that group. The service and thoughtful consideration of the team led by Amy is epic. Lodging takes you away with ranch elegance and you can finally get a good night's rest with the stars and quiet during the best and worst of times in life. The restaurant teams are amazing and the quality of the food is epic. A must do on your bucket list.

From the moment you arrive, Devil's Thumb Ranch stands out not just as a destination, but as an experience defined by exceptional service and breathtaking beauty. Our recent stay was nothing short of perfect, a testament to the dedicated staff who turn a simple getaway into a truly memorable occasion. After a slight mix-up with our room reservation, the front desk team handled the situation with an effortless professionalism that immediately put us at ease. The culinary journey at the ranch is a highlight in itself. We had the pleasure of dining at the Ranch House two times. The quality of the food was simply outstanding, prepared with a finesse that showcased fresh, local ingredients and a passion for flavor. We especially loved the homemade soups each night (our favorite was the Roasted Red Pepper). However, a truly special mention must go Michael at Heck's Tavern. Michael is not just a barista; he's a true professional. His personal touch—remembering our favorite drinks and sharing genuine warmth—made every visit to the bar feel like a homecoming. And then, there are the views. The scenery at Devil's Thumb Ranch is nothing short of spectacular. Surrounded by the majestic Rockies, every window offers a postcard-perfect view that changes with the light. Whether enjoying a coffee r a meal at the Ranch House, or just sitting by the fireplace at night, the panoramic vistas provide a constant, awe-inspiring backdrop to our stay. We can't wait to return.

We have had enjoyable and great experiences here over many years. However, our last two visits were disappointing. The massage I received was terrible; the lady's hands were shaking the entire time. When the manager asked how everything was, I politely said it was quite odd. She offered a 10% discount, but that didn't seem like a good way to make it better. Perhaps next time, they could offer another massage with a therapist who gets good reviews. On our next visit, we were excited to splurge and stay the night in one of the expensive cabins. Unfortunately, when we went to bed, a loud noise occurred every 45-60 minutes, jolting us awake. With no sleep and an early morning ahead, I called the front desk. They said they could move us to another cabin, but after a sleepless night, we just wanted to go home. It was terrible. The manager, who seemed new, took hours to respond, and after sending two emails that were ignored, we still heard nothing. Additionally, I left my rain jacket in the room, and it took over a month for them to send it back to me. I hope the new management can restore the good days.

We had the best stay at Devil's thumb and I can't recommend more. The lodges have a rustic vibe that is perfect for the ranch and the rooms are beyond generous in size and comfortable. We rode horses, played in the pool, hiked, and just relaxed while our kids could run free. It's the best! We will def go back. T

We didn't stay, but we had dinner. Beautiful view and fantastic food and service. Visited the Ranch Creek spa too. Kim was extremely helpful and welcoming. If you go, get an Invigorating Mineral Therapy - Recover 90 with Kelly. It was amazing!
