We booked out first guided elk hunt with Seth at Bearcat Outfitters, and we were not disappointed! We originally had 5 guy going, and Seth was more than happy to accommodate the varying experience levels of the hunters. Ultimately, 1 hunter had to cancel due to COVID concerns and Seth refunded/reallocated those funds to one of our other hunters. Top notch guy! Our days consisted of early morning breakfasts, followed by horseback adventures through the rugged landscape. We were escorted to our natural ground blinds in the morning armed with details about the location and lunch. The guides were super knowledgeable, friendly, and had a true passion for the hunt, and more importantly putting us on elk! We were checked-on multiple times during the day, and picked up after sunset for our ride back to the stable. The rides back were just as beautiful and adventurous as the rides in! Dinners were family style and were amazing! Out of the 4 guys in our group, everyone saw elk, and everyone had legal shot opportunities. 2 of us came home with elk, and I also came home with a color phase black bear! In total, 10 out of the 14 guys in camp got elk! A greater than 70% success rate - and yet Seth and his team were disappointed. They wanted everyone to get an elk. Shows the passion for delivering a full hunting experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Seth’s operation and will surely be going back in the future!

I had been planning to do a DIY archery elk hunt since 2010. Instead of doing a DIY hunt my buddy and I chose to go to Bearcat in 2017 for our first elk hunt. I feel extremely lucky to have had such a great first elk hunt. I cannot say enough good things about Bearcat and the awesome area that they are in. Seth has everything figured out and planned accordingly. His operation was extremely impressive to say the least. If I could go back every year I would. It was worth every penny. If anyone needs to talk to a previous client just call Seth and get my number from him. I would be glad to talk to anyone about his hunts!

Seth and his crew create a fantastic hunting and guiding experience. While it was my first elk hunting experience (and a successful one), I can't imagine going anywhere else for the trip of a lifetime. Thanks for taking great care of me, my brothers, and my dad!

I have hunted several places, and these guys are top notch. Sean and his team made me feel at home the moment I arrived. The Lodge, meals, hospitality, and hunting experience were all amazing. I hunted 3rd rifle season in November of 2023 and took a nice 5x5. Henry was my guide throughout most of the hunt and was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Going back in 2024. I highly recommend Bearcat!
