First time a the ranch. A piece of heaven on earth. Amazing staff, food is fantastic and the horses are beyond awesome. You feel like family the minute you arrive and when you depart. Plenty to do. If you're a regular rider, never ridden or somewhere in between, you'll feel right at home in the saddle. The Stagecoach Inn ride is a must. Absolutely breathtaking views.

If you want the perfect dude ranch experience...look no further than the Bar Lazy J. We have been to many fun ranches...but nothing compares. Cabins along the Colorado River, phenomenal food, fly fishing, zip lining, exceptional staff and outstanding horseback riding for ALL abilities with scenic, moderate and adventure rides mornings and afternoons. Hosted cocktail hours and evening activities like line dancing, campfires etc in the evenings. Great kids program during family season and special adult weeks early and late in the season. We love it so much that we have been 11 times and the 12th trip is on the books!

Review for Lazy Bar J Dude Ranch ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently spent a few days at Lazy Bar J Dude Ranch with some colleagues, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff's warm hospitality made us feel right at home, creating an inviting atmosphere that encouraged connection. The food was absolutely delicious, featuring hearty meals that kept us fueled for our daily activities. The communal dining setup was a fantastic way to bond with each other and other guests. I was very impressed with the horsemanship class led by one of the owners. She really provided great instructions and built confidence in riding while allowing opportunity to bond with your horse. Though we were only there for a short time, the ranch offered a variety of fun activities that made our stay memorable. The beautiful surroundings and community spirit truly set Lazy Bar J apart. I can’t recommend Lazy Bar J enough for anyone looking for a refreshing escape with great food, excellent hospitality, and the chance to build lasting relationships. I can’t wait to return!

Really a beautiful and amazing experience. We spent the week here with Jerry and Sherry and their amazing staff. It was a really fun packed and unique experience that was not only great quality but we felt like family. Some of the things we did was horseback riding, loping, ziplining, high country rides, adventure rides, bonfires, fly fishing, etc, all meals included! We can't wait to come back next year!

Just boarded the plane to go home after a perfect week at Bar Lazy J. The hospitality, horses, food, activities, and location cannot be matched! Cabins right on the Colorado River with wonderful amenities. I have already booked a visit next year. I highly recommend!
