SkyRose Ranch Hunting

Jared was an amazing guide! Extraordinarily helpful with navigating the ranch and creating a smooth and fun experience! He really seemed to care about us having a safe and successful hunt. Gave great tips and was very easy to get along with. Was very engaged with us throughout the process, but was not pushy or overbearing and allowed us to hunt at our own pace while offering excellent guidance. The ranch itself was also incredibly beautiful and expansive. And awesome place to hunt and connect with the process! Highly recommend!

Wow...what an experience! First, the hunting lodge is outstanding...spacious, clean, and all the comfort amenities you would want. Second, the property is amazing...so well maintained, numerous wild game encountered (deer, elk, coyotes) everywhere, and most of all...a ton of wild hogs EVERYWHERE! Every outing or location glassed, we were able to come across pigs...multiple sounders and solo wild boars throughout the property. Finally, last but not least...our guide Jared was the best! Setting up a hunt date with him was easy and very responsive to any questions. Jared was extremely knowledgeable of the property, a great guide in getting us on pigs using sound spot/stalk hunting techniques (no run and gun BS here), but most of all, just one of the nicest guy you'll ever meet in this industry. He's extremely professional, patient, takes his job seriously, and provides the best customer experience possible. We can't wait to come back here again soon!

The accommodations were absolutely excellent-comfortable, clean and thoughtfully prepared. Jared is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly knows the ranch like the back of his hand. His passion for the land really shows. The ranch itself is stunning- beautiful open spaces, peaceful surroundings, and incredible wildlife scenery everywhere you look. Jared is an excellent guide. I could not have had a better experience hunting for wild boar. My friend and I both got pigs. In addition to being such an awesome guide, Jared is also very affable and takes time to answer your questions. He also teaches you about field dressing and meat care. As can be seen from the picture below, the Ranch, which is on the border of San Luis Obispo and Monterey Counties, is gorgeous. Finally, the accommodations are excellent.
