Oakstone Outfitters

I have done I think 5 hunts with Oakstone Outfitters over the last 7 years. Some hunts with adult friends, some with my kids, and in all cases the guides and staff do a great job of making us feel welcome and accommodating us to ensure we have a great time. Have been successful with deer, hogs, and turkeys. We really enjoy the accommodations and food on the ranch, and the ability to get some shooting practice at the range or even go fishing during some of the downtime between morning and evening hunts.

The price of the class and the experience I had were great. John ( Bitchy Butcher) was great! He was extremely knowledgeable and made sure we left without any questions or doubts. I drove 4.5 hours to this class and it was worth every penny. Not all about hunting but how to do it humanely and make sure no meat goes to waste. Hopefully they have other courses.

The whole crew at OakStone is amazing - we are multi-time guests for a variety of hunts and we cannot say enough positive about the experience and outcomes. I took two new hunters with me this time and there were smiles everywhere. This is the quintessential California Wild Boar hunt, and they do so much more.

Great experience overall. The lodge is high quality and well maintained. Hunter, the guide, was knowledgeable and friendly -- if it wasn't for his pro hunter instincts I wouldn't be able to be successful on my deer hunt. Will be coming back.

Oak Stone outfitters is the best in the business. Their hospitality is next level. Their guides always put us right In action. I will definitely be back again.
