Grand Canyon Western Ranch

So much fun. This place is by no means luxurious, and you would be lucky to get Wifi but what a wonderful place to be, where the air is clean and the sky dark with the stars being your only source of light. The lodgings are simple and rustic, but comfortable, and you will feel transported into a bygone time. All of the people working here are wonderful and double up with many of their roles being housekeeper/bartender/cowboy/cook. The menu was very minimal but they tried their best to accommodate everyone, and everything they put out was absolutely delicious, kind of like being at a friend’s house. The most memorable moment was sitting at the fire with s’mores and listening to the resident cowboy regale us with his campfire stories and songs. It felt like we were in a movie.

My son and I had a great time. The people that work there are absolutely amazing. Food un the restaurant was great. Cabins were nice, beds very comfortable. If you go on a week that Casey is working, he is truly the heart of the ranch. Cowboy John was great taking us horseback riding. Very nice gentleman. If you really want to get away from it all, this is the place to go.

This place is a rustic experience. I stayed in the smith cabin that sleeps 5. There’s no TV. Very little cell coverage and if there was wifi I didn’t ask for it. I loved being disconnected for the night I was there. I had the opportunity to do the wagon ride at sunset to see the bison. What a great experience. Cowboy Dave sang to us a little then told us the history of the bison on the planes during westward expansion - my Roman Empire. The staff were all super friendly. The food was great. And the campfire was so much fun even in the August heat. Already planning another stay next time I’m in Vegas. Oh and their spring water is top notch. Bring a bottle to fill up.

What a lovely place to stay. The room was rustic but had loads of charm. The staff were great, really welcoming and friendly. Camille did a great job sorting us out on arrival. Casey plays a mean 12 string. A little gem.

It is a great place! Very nice Ranch and people! You can do beautiful sunset horse rides! They have an awesome Ranch house and and they can tell a lot about the history of their Ranch. Definitely one of the greatest highlights of our roadtrip thru the USA.
