Such a fun time! They do know that you are the food giver so you can get overwhelmed quite quickly when you first walk in to the deer pen. It helped circling around and walking away from the front gate. We had so much fun feeding, petting, and walking with the deer. It was a little warm when we went so a lot of the other animals were resting while we walked. If you want a good family time this is something to go try!
This is a must-see for anyone who has kids or just loves animals. Located east of Williams, Arizona, off the I40, this place is open daily for everyone to enjoy. Recommend getting there early so you can have the place to yourself with all the wildlife before the crowds arrive. However, weekdays are not too bad but not on the weekends. Plan of spending at 90 minutes to fully experience the up-close, personal interaction with the animals. They also have a good-size gift shop, which is where you can buy your tickets. We also recommend buying the large container of food for the deer, rather than the small cup. You are not allowed to bring in any food from the outside to prevent harm to the animals. The entire staff here are some of the bests you will find around Williams, so friendly, helpful and all have a love for animals. There is plenty of free parking in front of the farm, so, head on out and bring the kids, they will love this place.
What an amazing farm! This little farm is located east of Williams and this is a MUST SEE if you’re coming to Flagstaff and or Williams for summer break! My girls had a blast feeding and petting the deer and so did I! There are also other animals such as porcupines, a little pig, Mozart the cockatoo, goats, zonkey’s, and even a bison. Furthermore, the staff who work here are very warm & welcoming, making sure you’re experience at this farm is good ❤️🦌 Also the gift shop is very cozy and offers unique souvenirs for you to take home.
This was actually pretty cool. Thomas loved it, and it was fun for us as well. There were lots of deer and other animals as well. The deer were pretty pushy while you were feeding them. We loved it but may be overwhelming for some. You don't have to feed them. The cockatoo talked too. I think it's would probably be worth the money for most family's. We live on a farm and still enjoyed it.
That was simple Wednesday in the gorgeous state of Arizona and I with my Family happened to pass the Deer Farm so like any respecting themselves samaritans we turned back and stopped by. Unmatched experience with the best educated and skillfully trained personal. They have explained us everything we need to know, and asked to not wash our shoes in the sink. At first I thought that it was some kind of local ritual, but then in second realized what that was probably about (deer poop, in case you didn’t get Idk). If you getting thirsty much more often, especially at the times u ate lots of sour crawlers, ice-cream, snickers, crackers and other snacks, urge to consume which has absolutely nothing to do with nothing, except uncontrollable desire to consume such of course (not my particular case) - plan ahead and fill your hump with water before like a camel (which this guys have). Otherwise they will tell you to leave your drink where you can see it but unable to taste and you will be coming back and forth, which is cruel but also good for cardio so overall I’m satisfied. My family had wonderful time, my homeboy Tony got himself kissed everywhere(reasonable) by the deers and pet as much of em as he could imagine. Good. You should be careful when feeding the deers so they will not try to eat you. Okay okay, your clothes not you but still no fun - check the photo section if you don’t want to end up like us and always listen to your moma. (no human or a deer was harmed during this operation). One of the main beauty’s of this place is actually one they will never tell you about. You can literally see the whole chocolate m&m’s factory in motion as well as orange Squirt soda, so exciting and fascinating! I cought a few HD pictures for you guys so you can enjoy as well. And that’s all for just 20$, can you imagine??! On top of the deers guys out here have a whole bunch of wildlife, I even found a groundhog and a crow. Thrilling! One goat out there have a beard bigger then mine:( Every pig has its own pool and alpacas having a sleeping masks. Wish I live like this! My girl got her satisfaction like in Benny Benassi’s music video from 2000’s and now we on the way to the nearest Denny’s where we, in a family atmosphere and fashionable manner, will discuss such a wonderful and productive time well spent at the Deer Farm! Definitely coming back! Definitely a must see! P.S. Give Gail a raise, I tried to play funny business(not on purpose) and she was quick and efficient for her years. My respect to you mam and thank again for the wonderful time at your farm. Friendly gesture. Lucky Fella.
