A nice slice of history, really well preserved. I'm surprised that we were just allowed to wander around ourselves and read the information. We took the walking path as well. It. Was the perfect thing to do on a hot summer morning in Elgin Wine Country. We learned a lot and the information was very interesting. We took the slow road back to the main road South just to enjoy the area. Very scenic. Recommend this little gem to enhance your vacation experience.

Went here as a day adventure with a friend. It is very amazing seeing all the history of this location. It is free to explore and walk around the ranch building. And the cottonwood gallery was so amazing. We saw plenty of birds and deer while we were there as well.
