Due to some odd circumstances with another client getting sick and cancelling his trip early, I had the opportunity to hunt with Dillon as well as one of his guides, Mat, throughout my bear hunt. Dillon and Mat were both some of the most knowledgeable, hard working, and genuinely good dudes I’ve ever met. I learned more about hunting in general, but more specifically was overwhelmed by their knowledge of the animals, weather, topography, and vegetation of the area. I told Dillon when I booked my hunt that I wanted to hunt bears in Arizona with his team because I wanted a legitimate spot and stalk, work for it type of hunt, and boy did we! After an adventurous and exhausting week, we ended up connecting on an awesome bear on the morning of the fifth day. I couldn’t have asked for a better hunt, better guides, or better overall experience. It’s worth noting the only negative review that Chasen’ The King has is an anti hunting person who has never met Dillon or any of his guides.

After 2 years of trying DIY bear hunting, I decided I needed some help. I was deciding between Diamond Outfitters and Chasin the King and I am so glad I went with Chasin the King. They did their homework. They scouted well before opening day and had a few bear planned out. Camp is roughing it more than other hunts I've been on. Not knocking it, but there was no cook in camp, so don't plan on a steak meal or anything. The purpose is the hunt and if you want a spot and stalk type hunt, these are your guides. I took my daughter and we had Cody as our guide. He's a down to earth just good guy who was kind and patient with my daughter and me. We were successful in bringing down her first bear. All in all, a wonderful memorable experience and they went above and beyond to help us be successful.

I've hunted twice with Dillon and had a great experience both times. I've expressed to Dillon my desire at the conclusion of the hunt that I want to feel like I've earned it. I can tell you hunting with CHASENTHEKING will provide you that feeling as well as a great adventure and hunt. I highly recommend Dillon for any hunt.

Had these guys help me get my first bull elk! Cody was my guide and did a great job finding bulls and getting me on one with only 2 days left on a tough late rifle tag. They came highly recommended by a friend of mine. I would use them again!

Had an absolute blast! If you're looking for a rugged, spot-and-stalk bear hunt, this is the place for you. I hunted with Dillon and it was immediately evident that he knows so much about and cares so much for bears. He's committed to fair chase, ethical hunting, and we passed on some smaller bears early in the hunt to hold out for a full-grown, adult bear. It's not an easy hunt with lots of walking and glassing in tough, steep terrain, but I wouldn't have traded a single second of it. After seeing several smaller, younger bears early in the hunt, on the last day in the last few hours of my hunt Dillon got me on a nice mature sow. A great hunt, great company, and an animal and an experience I'm proud of and learned so much on. Thanks again, Dillon!
