Wildlife Farms

I recently dined here, and it was a shocking and appalling experience. While the food was delicious, the real issue was what I witnessed: the *chef*—yes, the *chef*—going around to tables and *stealing cash* left as tips. When confronted about it, he showed zero remorse, dismissing the concerns entirely. It was as if he believed it was his right to take what wasn’t his. My waitress Ashley had no idea this happened until I handed her another tip. This behavior is not only unethical but completely unacceptable in any business, let alone a restaurant that relies on customer trust and goodwill. Management seemed either oblivious or indifferent, which makes it even worse. If you value honesty and basic decency, avoid this place at all costs.

What a blessing it is to say that I have been here twice in my life. The land is breathtaking, and the lodge is incredible. The staff take such pride in making sure that no matter your need, their answer is "not a problem". The food is unbelievable and very plentiful (even the plates are huge for the size portions you will get). The guides are all extremely knowledgeable and very helpful to people new to duck hunting (as I was), and the duck blinds would be considered the best seen by all of the experienced duck hunters I talked to. These duck blinds were very spacious and all came with working stoves and heaters. The shooting clay facility is very well run and a lot of fun for practicing before hand. Wildlife Farms is the perfect place for a work retreat as well with a nice convention building. I can't wait until my child is old enough to hunt so I can take my family here for a few days during duck season. I was able to stay last year with my husband and a work group and everything was wonderful. The staff was excellent, the lodge lovely, and the activities offered were great. Being as how it has a small lake behind it there are a lot of mosquitoes and they even have a system set up to spray the patio for guest to get rid of some. Also there were lots of giant spiders outside of the rooms that were amazing to look at, but also made me want to bring a can of spray just in case. I do wish there were tvs in the room to watch the news while in bed but it wasn't a big deal. The absolute BEST thing about the place is the FOOD!!! IT IS AMAZING!! Order the shrimp (giant prawns) or the excellent rib eye steak or the delicious fried chicken (it puts KFC to shame)...really you can't go wrong no matter what you order it was all great. I can't wait to go back!

Amazing place. Nice lodging, amazing main community lodge. Good food and service. Guides and blinds were excellent. Most importantly, the owners are there every day making sure your trip goes smoothly.

Quite possibly the best event location I've come across in my years of traveling. Fantastic secluded facility. Warm and friendly staff. Off the charts cuisine and facilities. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
