10/10 Lorna was VERY hospitable. The theme feels like a little wild western town. Very neat, lots to look at, a lot of time was put into placement and decorations. BEAUTIFULLY lit up at night. Very clean and felt more safe than I think where we live lol. We ended up spending half our stay just talking and enjoying food together with Lorna. She’s a very funny, kind & entertaining person to converse with. Don’t even get me started on the grounds… gorgeous!!!! Watching the horses run right along side the cabin or through the sunset. She has many little friendly dogs that got along great with ours! Fancy chickens, horses, mules, donkeys, dogs, cats, you name it! (Although she was boarding a few those animals, (I believe the donkeys or mules, I am not saying they are all guaranteed to be there.) You can tell all the animals are happy and very well taken care of. The cabin was clean & felt very safe. Self made woman which we love. Didn’t have the honor of meeting her partner Denny. Be kind to people, you don’t realize how hard these folks work to run their businesses. Always be grateful for somewhere to lay your head & have food & drinks in the fridge. The owner can’t change the weather, Alabama rains a decent bit but mostly passing showers. You have a fridge, microwave, clean bathroom, towels, hair product, toilet paper, snacks, tv, etc. We will absolutely go back. We almost extended our stay but had a couple reservations we couldn’t work around. Highly recommended if you’re in the area or not, it’s worth going out of the way for, truly. Hands down our favorite place we camped/glamped at in 14 states.

If I could give more stars I would! Just incredible place with incredible people. The ground are well taken care of; beautiful flowers everywhere and all of the horses look amazing. Lorna and Dennis made my friend and I feel like we are a part of their family.

They were nice and professional. 10 out of 10 will recommend.

Mr. Dennis hauled my 20yo Saddlebred gelding from Alabama to Ohio today.He was the only horse on the truck which he usually doesn’t like, but with light sedation he was fine. Mr Dennis was right on time picking him up 0900 and drove straight through to Ohio stopping only for fuel. Anyway Charlie arrived about 12 hours later and was 100%. Mr Dennis very professional and excellent handling my sometimes temporental horse. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them. This review dated March 26, 2024
