Shady Grove horse ranch

Absolutely incredible experience! Authentic ranch with a stunning private view of DeSoto State Falls that felt like a secret hidden gem. The horses were safe, well-trained, and a joy to ride. Our female guide was the most knowledgeable, helpful, and perfect fit for the job. Beyond 5 stars! Well worth the money and a GREAT price.

We had an amazing time at Shady Grove Ranch. Katelyn was a WONDERFUL guide and was very attentive to our comfort levels on the horses. None of us were super experienced and it was the first time for one of us, but we all felt very safe and comfortable. We saw the beautiful De Soto Falls from a different angle and Katelyn explained lots of the local history to us. We definitely want to come back to ride at Shady Grove and Katelyn again. Also, the horses were so cute and very calm. They fell perfectly in line with one another and had such unique and funny personalities. It was SO much fun!!!! 🐴❤️🐴❤️

Jamie and the horses: Tulsa, Cowboy, Baby, Pocahontas & crew gave us a beautiful ride today to see the multiple sightseeing areas & the falls. Horses were fresh at our noon ride and very well behaved. Kids loved petting the cat and said they were so relaxed afterwards. Best ever way to digitally detox 2 teenagers! Thanks Shady Grove!

I have been visiting this ranch for over 8 years. Lately, the trail rides have been exceptional. Our guide Katelyn has been so kind and helpful in making sure everyone has a safe and fun experience. Katelyn can work with children, elderly folks and she has a most compassionate demeanor. The whole experience was top notch and the horses are obviously very well cared for. Thank you so much. We will definitely visit frequently.

We had the absolute best time riding yesterday. Kaitlyn, our guide, was an absolute sweetheart! The horses were a dream and our ride was very comfortable, informative, and fun. We will definitely be returning and recommending to our friends!
